Live action Teen Titans series slated for 2018

So DC Entertainment and Warner Bros have teamed up to do a live action Teen Titans drama, simply titled The Titans in 2018. How are they going to fuck this up?
Not sure yet but here is our cast line up, no actors have been announced yet.
The team is made up of Dick Grayson, instead of portraying Robin he will be using the Nightwing alis. I'm ok with this as let's face it as Nightwing Dick is more of his own man and the Robin name really brings Batman to mind. Starfire of course we have to have Starfire, Princess Koriand'r is a main stay in the Titans lore. Raven again another main stay, the team wouldn't be the Teen Titans without brooding
Raven to balance Starfire. Barbara Gordon they're not certain if she will be BatGirl or Oracle but it is known that she will be in a wheelchair and the team's resident computer hacker. I have to wonder if she wasn't just added to be part of a love triangle and bring drama. Hawk and Dove, I really don't know anything about these characters. In a rather cryptic tweet from DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns there is hinting at Beast Boy making an appearance, but no word as to Cyborg.
As of the writing of this the villains in the series look to be Trigon, Brother Blood, and Deathstroke. Which are pretty much the classics that fight the Teen Titans, in the comics and animated series.
Surprisingly I'm ok with the changes to the team. The Titans have undergone changes cycling in and out other members. They have traded Dick for Damian and Cyborg for Kid Flash in the newest Rebirth series. Ok I would've had a problem if it had been Starfire or Raven, but we don't have to cross that bridge yet.
There doesn't seem to be any word as to the story lines or plot of the series, but I have to wonder if it's not going to be another angst ridden teen drama. Fact is I'll probably never know the series is set to premiere on a streaming service for WB and DC.
"Both fan-driven series are in early stages of production and will air exclusively on a DC-branded direct-to-consumer digital service in 2018. Operated by Warner Bros. Digital Networks Group, the new digital service will deliver an immersive experience designed just for DC fans." From the press release via WB
Filming starts on the Titans series in the fall and I'll keep you posted as to the casting when I learn of it.
